The Brief
Powerscreen required a bucket screen solution for separating soil, aggregates and mixed site material directly on site. The product needed to suit excavators in the 13–20 tonne range, handle material sizes up to 100mm, and deliver reliable screening performance for quarrying and aggregate businesses.
The Solution
Graepels supplied a heavy-duty bucket screen with an operating weight of approximately 1,500kg and a screening drum diameter of around 1200mm. This screening media was specified to support throughput of up to 30m3 per hour, depending on the material, while providing efficient fines separation across soil, aggregate and demolition-related applications.
The Outcome
The finished solution gave Powerscreen a robust bucket screening product suited to real on-site material processing. It supported consistent separation of soil and aggregate material, helped improve handling efficiency on site, and delivered reliable performance in heavy-duty screening conditions.
