Self Cleaning Screens & Piano Wires
Why Graepels Self-cleaning Screens?
Self-cleaning screens, also known as self-cleaning vibrating screens or self-cleaning trommel screens, are a type of screening equipment designed to minimize blinding and clogging of the screen surface. These screens employ various mechanisms to continuously clear the screen surface of debris, fines, and other materials that may inhibit efficient screening.
Self-Cleaning Screens are useful for heavy duty screening when issues such as tearing, binding, pegging and clogging arise. Crimped and straight wires are connected by cross wires at regular intervals. The wires are manufactured to vibrate independently of one another, which helps to prevent binding, clogging and the accumulation of material. Graepels manufacture a complete range of apertures in Self Cleaning Screens.
Why Graepels Piano Wires?
Graepels high specification Piano Wire Screens can be more fragile than other screens but give particularly reliable performance regarding throughput and binding. These types of screens are supplied for smaller screen sizes where wet and sticky conditions exist. Piano Wire Screens are manufactured using straight parallel wires which are connected at intervals along the screens. This creates a large and elongated opening and is useful for screening regular shaped material.
Materials available: High tensile steel and stainless steel
Apertures: from 1mm to 20mm
Wire thicknesses: from 0.65 to 3mm depending on screen specification
