Landscaping &Â Garden Design
In recent years Graepels have begun to explore Landscaping and Garden design. Working with our very talented customers to create exciting pieces.
Graepels worked with Hugo Bugg, a young and very talented Landscape Gardener, to design a perforated corten walkway as a key feature to his garden design for the 2014 Chelsea Flower Show and, for which garden design Hugo Bugg won a Gold Medal Award.
As a result of this successful collaboration we are now working on developing our products to be aesthetically and artistically pleasing as well as practical – from walkways to sculpture.
Approach
Our approach to any project is to gauge the design issues and limitations and to work closely with our customers, creating prototypes and understanding how to best achieve the ultimate finished outcome.
From conception to completion we aim to look at all the design elements. For example outdoor applications can require different materials and finishes if located close to the sea, along with other important manufacturing factors.
Applications
All our products used in the various applications below can be fabricated using a variety of materials and material thicknesses to create unique metal designs. However, perforating materials like mild steel that is hot dip galvanised will need to have large perforations to avoid clogging during galvanising.
In addition to our perforating and weaving capabilities we offer additional services such as, levelling, rolling, bending, folding, cutting, and welding. Certain metal finishing services are also available on special request.
