Etihad Skyline Tour

The Etihad Skyline Tour, running along the roof of Croke Park, will have its big opening on the 1st of June.

The Skyline, 17 storeys above the ground and covering the Hogan, Cusack and Davin stands of Croke Park, is the first of its kind in Ireland and will offer a panoramic view of the city of Dublin. From it, you will be able to see such monuments as the Old Guinness Brewery, the Spire, the GPO and Trinity College.

In line with its status as a sky high tourist attraction for Dublin, the Skyline will be hosting the Olympic flame on its way to London before embarking on its tour of the larger Dublin area.

The Skyline is composed of five different viewing platforms atop three stands, as well as a suspended walkway. The walkway has been fitted with 1.2 kilometres of perforated metal balustrades, supplied by Graepel Perforators & Weavers, as a clear safety barrier for anyone on the Skyline.

The spec 3mm thick mild steel with a 25.4mm x 12.7mm Round Ended Slotted Hole with a 6mm bridge in both directions is specific to the requirements made and has allowed for a solid, safe structure that doesn’t compromise the visual impact of the experience.
